A Dirty Sort of Clean

For you, once more, and forever. đź’™

“A Dirty Sort of Clean” – Recorded 1/9/2021 – Auroraboros – Objects, and the Distance Between Them

I have seen…
A dirty sort of clean…
Paradox? Sure.
But I’ll take it.

“Expect the unexpected.”

I have seen…
Water running over, flowing,
Spilling out as these words do now…
From my mouth and from my fingertips…
Gently moving across…
Taking nothing with that we did not give freely,
Not to the stream, sullied now…
But to each other…
Our essences one, but for a moment, until…
-Separate and recombine-
In this, expelling:
Ugly nature, beauty found in its simple song…
Oh, and we shall sing…
But it shall not be this song…
It will be to a different tune altogether, though in it will be heard the hum that is and always will be.

Yes, we will sing and we will sing loudly, though only for one another and it will only go beyond ourselves because we cannot help but cry out and proclaim with our mouths what our bodies cannot contain,
Our voices will echo through the hills and valleys, across the rivers and lakes, that even the heavens will stop to listen…
Our song…
Will be glorious and inspired and though the verses will be but one another’s names,
It will convey in each note a fondness which cannot be captured in words…
An adoration which cannot truly be understood by even those souls who may come to hear but which will certainly leave them to tremble and quiver and perhaps wipe their brow as I do now…
And when the song has reached the final verse…
With a great sigh, the chorus will hush…
I will hold you, and you will hold me…
Your cheek on my chest,
And we will rest within…
A dirty sort of clean,
Our souls, our hearts, purged,
Splashed around us in the physical realm as paint on a canvas, wet and dripping.

I have seen..
Though… when? I do not know.
I do not care.
I will wait.
I will wait for you as long as it takes; let the dust settle in heaps atop chandeliers and shelves too high to reach.

It has been said: “Purple is Blue with a bit of Red bleeding in…”
Let us embrace the drop that has seeped through now,
Membrane breached,
Guard down…
I wait. For you.
