I can hear them again
The voices
So far away
A siren’s song
Calling
How I wish to sing with them
How I would allow
My body itself to crash upon those rocky shores
That I might be
That much closer
To you
Objects, and the Distance Between Them
Dreams, thoughts, and experiences expressed through poetry and prose
I can hear them again
The voices
So far away
A siren’s song
Calling
How I wish to sing with them
How I would allow
My body itself to crash upon those rocky shores
That I might be
That much closer
To you
I love this. An evocative poem of love. Excellent.

the restraint is in the words, but the heart longs so deeply – transmuted emotions from the call of the sea
