Old scars
Have all but faded now
But the memories
Still remain
Nothing really ever ends
We assume new forms daily
In thought and
In manifest presence
And with each casual glance
At what was and still is
We return
To prior days
Reminiscent but distant just the same.
Love this!! A Scar is a scar and has it’s own story to tell and remember! Bravo, My Friend, Bravo!

Yes, they certainly do. And scars are not always physical, or noticable. Many times, they remain hidden, even to ourselves…

An insightful poem, and I know about those old scars, they can never be scrubbed away 🤔💛

That is very true. They remain, even when they fade. The best we can do is try to move forward and learn from them.

That’s it, as long as we keep trying, we can’t let the old scars entangle us. 😊
