In the distance
Thunder rolls
But I can barely hear it
Over the sound
Of you
Of us
In motion as well
Our reverberations produced
By friction just the same
By the pressing together
Of two ethereal bodies
Drifting
Floating
Aimlessly
For so long
Until finally
They meet
In a grand and majestic scene
Replete with
Flashes of bright light
Swirling and caressing with care
Until
At last
They coalesce
And the pressure too great
They release
Great waves of cool condensation
Upon the desiccated soil beneath
Fertile
But patient in anticipation
Now saturated
And ready
For new life to begin
In time.
Lovely poem my friend, I love the simbalisom in it. ❤️✌️

That is quite appropriate. I quite enjoy storms… I hope that you were able to spend some time listening to the rain and thunder.
