Curled red petals
Folded
Toward center
Smiling
Fixed in
Place
Space and time
Irrelevant
As this moment
Captured
Means far more
Careful
Consideration
Touch must be
A genuine act
Not to
Impose
But rather
To implore
To inquire
To inspire
An act of
Reverence
Made with
Understanding
That beauty often comes
With thorns
Not to deter
But rather
To ensure
Honest intent
Flowers fade
And with time
Disappear
But stalks remain
And roots grow deep
The message
Perhaps
That both must be
Appreciated
And loved
Lovely poem my friend, I really like the last part, the hole must be loved to nurish the flower with in. ❤️✌️

“With honest intent.” That is IT isn’t it. But how hard to detect sometimes. Great poem

Exactly – the visable action is often just the tip of the iceberg. Understanding the intent behind the action is both critical for understanding the action and reacting appropriately), but is often also frustratingly difficult to ascertain.
Thank you so much for reading and leaving your thoughts!

This is a very deep verse. So many nuances and meanings and so beautifully worded.
