Unintelligent
Unrealistic
Unacceptable
Unapproachable
Unrelatable
Undesirable
Unforgivable…

You have been told that you are insignificant
You have been told these things
And the worst part isn’t what you were told
It was the way that the speaker spoke to you not with you
Looked through you not at you
Listened to you not heard you
But that was their loss, not yours
If anything that is a blessing on you
Just a chance to prove
To them and everyone else you ever knew
Who doubted your next move
Ever caused you to second guess
Ever made you feel like anything less
Than a gift
Enormous in potential
Ageless and infinitely special
Powerful beyond all thresholds
Charismatic and charming and silly yes, at times, but you are not a robot
Wise beyond your years and full of thoughts and ideas – just because you don’t share them with everyone doesn’t mean they aren’t there
Unstoppable and undeterable – a believer in ideals but not an idealist not a dreamer but also not a realist…
Unrelenting and unchained – acceptance is a two-way relationship, “pal”
Uninterested…
In relating to someone who seeks only to relate to those who hold a relative point for view, to someone who doesn’t seek to relate so much as seeks to be affirmed in that they already believe
Uninterested in the desires of those with sight that barely reaches beyond the end of the feet
Unforgivable, well, yes… because forgiveness needs to be requested to carry any real weight and you aren’t asking for that right now…
Insignificant… Maybe… But only in the sense that you have no place in the world of those people who will tell you such things
You are only insignificant to those who fail to see or understand your significance (and trust me – no, trust yourself – you do have significance)
You are a blazing fire, and those who stand too close will only burn while those who write you off and stand in the distance with their arms crossed will never feel the warmth you have to offer…
